At NuForm Counter Top Company, we've been serving families in central Illinois for over 65 years. Your trust matters to us. This privacy policy explains how we handle your information when you visit our website or work with us on your countertop or cabinet project.

What Information We Collect

When You Request a Quote

When you fill out our contact form or call us, we collect:

Your name, email, and phone number
Details about your project (kitchen remodel, bathroom update, etc.)
Your address (so we can schedule a consultation)

When You Visit Our Website

Like most websites, we automatically collect basic technical information:

Your IP address and browser type
Which pages you visit (helps us know what products interest you)
How you found us (Google search, Facebook, etc.)

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Provide quotes: We'll call or email you back with pricing for your project
Schedule consultations: Set up times to visit your home and take measurements
Complete your project: Order materials, schedule installation, send invoices
Stay in touch: Send occasional updates about new products or special pricing (you can opt out anytime)
Improve our service: Understand what customers are looking for

Who We Share Information With

We don't sell your information. Period.

We only share your information when necessary:

Web3Forms: Our contact form service (they handle form submissions securely)
Google: Google Analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies, and Google Maps, only if you choose to show the map on our home page
Our website host: Stores this website, the messages sent through it, and the 3D design links we share with you
Our phone and text messaging provider: Carries the calls and texts you've asked for
Email provider: So we can respond to your inquiries
Payment processor: If you pay by credit card (they handle transactions securely)
Legal requirements: If required by law (very rare)

Text Messaging (SMS)

If you check the text-message box on our quote form, or ask us to text you, we may text you about your quote or project: quotes you've requested, appointment reminders, and project updates. Giving us your phone number alone does not sign you up for texts. We only text people who agreed to receive them, and we never send marketing texts without your consent.

Message frequency varies depending on your project. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply HELP for help, or STOP at any time to opt out. After you text STOP, we'll send one final message confirming you've been unsubscribed.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding the aggregators and providers of the text message services whose sole purpose is delivering the messages you requested.

How Long We Keep Your Information

Active customers: We keep project details for 7 years (for warranty and tax purposes)
Quote requests: We keep contact info for 2 years in case you decide to move forward later
Website analytics: Google Analytics keeps visit-level data no longer than 14 months. Its summary reports, which do not identify you, can be kept longer.

Cookies

Our website uses minimal cookies. When you first visit, we ask whether you are happy for us to use Google Analytics:

If you choose Accept: Google Analytics tells us which pages people find useful, so we know what to improve. Your IP address is anonymised.
If you choose Decline: no analytics cookies are set and Google Analytics never loads.
A small amount of storage is used either way, purely to remember your choice so we do not ask again.

The map on our home page comes from Google Maps. It loads only if you choose Show the map, and Google's own privacy policy covers it from then on.

We remember your answer on your device. To change it, use the button below and we will ask again. Choosing it also stops analytics right away and removes its cookies. You can also disable cookies in your browser settings.

Your Rights

See your information: Call us and we'll tell you what we have on file
Update your information: Let us know if your phone or email changes
Delete your information: We'll remove it (except what we legally must keep for taxes)
Opt out of emails: Click "unsubscribe" or just let us know

Security

We protect your information with:

Password-protected systems
Limited employee access to customer data

While we take security seriously, no online system is 100% secure. We do our best to protect your information.

Children's Privacy

Our services are for adults planning home renovations. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
