Under the surface, Catalina is built the way cabinet makers wish every cabinet were built: all-plywood boxes, solid birch face frames, solid wood corner braces, and a UV-coated natural birch interior that looks as good open as closed. Drawers are dovetailed solid hardwood on 100-lb rated soft-close undermount slides. Doors hang on 6-way adjustable soft-close concealed hinges. Shelves are 3/4" veneered plywood that will not sag.
